Me and Melanie

We went to the Ozarks with our friends Nick and Melanie, we had some rain but most of the day was sunny. We had a great time and look forward to going back. We stayed at Nick's brother and sister in laws since we had the boys. Peyton didn't want to sleep, he was afraid he would miss something. Peyton played in the water with daddy, mommy and Tanner.

You will never be forgotten Grandma

My grandmother Elliott passed away on Friday June 20, 2008 and her funeral was on Monday June 23, 2008. It was a very emotional weekend and it was extremely difficult to watch my grandpa say good bye to the love of his life. It was difficult for everyone but we know that she is in a better place and we can all use another guardian angel. Grandma did so much for everyone one of us, from making me funnel cakes as a young girl to teaching me to sew as an adult and sharing stories that touched the heart. She will be greatly missed but we will carry on her legacy and I pray we make her proud!!

Peyton is 11 months old!!

Laughing at daddy!

Playing with daddy!

Peyton turned 11 months old on Thursday June 19, 2008! Wow I can‘t believe that in one month he will be a year old. Peyton has mastered not only climbing up the stairs but now he can go down and at times just slides, he is all boy. He talks, screams and sings all the time. He is non-stop but he is happy and loves to laugh and smile. He loves to lay in his bed and put his covers over his face to play peek-a-boo, part of our nightly routine. He has started the stage where if you put something up or move it, then he wants it and will get it. He is walking around everything and will walk with me or daddy but not ready to take off on his own yet, which is fine with mommy, I don’t mind keeping him a baby just a little longer. One thing he really enjoys is swinging, he just laughs and giggles! I can’t believe this is my last monthly entry before the big first birthday!

FSU-College World Series

Lance and I went to Omaha to watch FSU play Miami in the College World Series. He made me wear FSU stuff but we made an agreement that when we go to watch Notre Dame, he has to pay up. It was a nice day, just the two of us. Peyton stayed with Aunt Belle, Aunt Kyky and Braylon and they hung out at the pool and Peyton was running them ragged and was trying to drink the water coming out of the pop up spouts.

Peyton crawling/walking on concrete

Everyone gets a kick out of him walking/crawling on concrete, he's smart it hurts to crawl on concrete.

Happy Birthday Aunt Belle!

We went to St. Joe on Sunday June 15, 2008 to celebrate Aunt Belle's 24th birthday and father's day. It was a nice day and Peyton and Braylon had fun playing together.

Peyton and Lance's 1st Daddy's day!

For daddy's day, we went and ate breakfast at Lance's dad's house. We then headed to St. Joe for dinner and then spent the night. Lance was thrilled to spend the day with his boys. I was happy to get to spend the day with my dad too. As a parent it makes you realize just how much your parents love you.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Happy Father's day to all you daddy's!

On the boat

Chillin with mommy

Splashing daddy

Finally feel asleep!

Summer is finally here!!! We are back out on the boat and Peyton is doing so well. He loves to play on the floor of the boat and then has enjoyed getting in the water and splashing around, he really gets a kick out of him and daddy trying to get mommy wet. He loves to sit in the front of the boat when going across the water and loves hitting the wakes, he laughs and smiles and looks super cool with his shades on.

Happy Birthday Austin!

Peyton went to his best bud Austin's 1st Birthday on Sunday May 25, 2008. Peyton wanted to help!
