This weekend was full of birthday parties. We had our niece Katey's birthday party, she is 12 and got a lot of clothes and we went to her birthday party on Saturday night.
On Sunday we went to St. Joe for my cousin Meghan's sons birthday. Ryland turned 2 and he got some presents that Peyton would like, we did put him on his bouncing zebra and Peyton did get a kick out of that.
Then we watched FOOTBALL!! Go Patriots!!

Peyton 6 months old
Half a year old (mommy is sad, it goes so fast)

Peyton turned 6 months old on Saturday January 19, 2008. He is changing so much and so quickly. He is completely fascinated with his hands and he is starting to teeth we think:) We have found that he is very ticklish under his arm, even when you go to take his shirt off he will laugh so it's very funny to change his clothes now. He is rolling and moving about, still hasn't mastered crawling but he will roll and scoot to where he wants to go. He is starting to sit up on his own but it's not for to long. We are savoring every day!!

Kewpie Young Tryon
For those of you who do not know, my grandpa Young was known to most people as Kewpie. The other day a lady I work with told me that Peyton looked like a Kewpie Doll, when I asked her what?? She said you probably don't know what that is, but the what was more like "oh my gosh," all I could think of was my grandpa. I guess Peyton may really look like the Young's.

Peyton has discovered his hands this week. He puts them in front of his face and it looks like he is waving to himself and is completely fascinated with them.

Lance and I went out to Gojo's with some of our friends on Saturday night. It was the first time we left Peyton at night besides for two hours on our anniversary. I did pretty good though. We had a great time and it was nice to go out and just socialize. Oma and Opa came down to babysit Peyton while we were out and they had a blast of course.

Lance and I had some people over for New Years Eve and our neighbors and good friends Nick and Melanie had people over and we all merged around midnight. The Baker boys stayed with us again this year and we all had a blast with them. We had a few new additions, of course Peyton, however, he didn't make it to midnight and then Morgan who is 3 and didn't have much to do with the boys and Ben who is 8 weeks old and he slept most of the night. We had Wii's set up at our house and next door and the boys not just the little ones and the girls had fun playing. The kids had some red grape juice at midnight in wine glasses so they all thought they were pretty cool and of course all the adults had champagne. It was a great start to the New Year!
