Christmas Day

Coming down the stairs to see what Santa left.

Tanner got a lot of clothes and a couple of Xbox Games

Peyton got a Yankee's outfit and a lot of toys

Yes Scuddles even got a new bone!

Way to early 6am

Oma and Opa made the trip down to watch us open gifts at 5:30am

Me and Daddy (now I know I'm a lady's man in my Christmas outfit) that is Peyton of course

See I told you, I'm a knockout:)

This is my 2nd cousin Kale

On Christmas morning we had to get up at 5:30am because my daddy had to work, Oma and Opa got down here just in time, they had to leave around 4am to come watch me and Tanner open our gifts. Santa left us a bunch of good stuff and I have a lot of toys to keep me busy. Me and mommy hang out and watched the parade and played with my new toys and then we picked up Daddy and went to Great Uncle Gene's and Great Aunt Katey's for dinner. Their dog played with me and I met my second cousin Kale who thought I was adorable, he likes little ones and he's only 15 months. We ate and opened gifts and then I got fussy and we had to come home, but all in all it was a great day!!

Christmas Eve

I'm a present

I left a note for Santa, big brother Tanner helped draw pictures.

Me and Mommy (aren't I cute)

Me, Tanner and cousin Katey

On Christmas Eve we went to Papa and Grandma Di's. We didn't make it to church because since Peyton had an ear infection he was sleeping and I was not about to wake him, since we only slept 3 hours the night before. After we came home Daddy read "The Night Before Christmas" and we wrote a note to Santa and left cookies and milk for him.

Peyton under the weather

Peyton had caught a cold and was coughing quite a bit and on Sunday December 23, 2007 he started coughing even worse and then started screaming like he was in pain that evening, we ended up going to Children's Mercy where we found out he had a double ear infections plus the cold, poor guy. He was prescribed Amoxicillin and started doing much better after a couple of doses, thank goodness it saved Christmas a little bit.

Bryons losing to girls at Catchphrase:)

The Girls won!

The Boys won!

Snow Fight

The gangs all here!

We went to Oma and Opa's for Christmas. Petyon and Tanner got lots of presents. We got stranded up there because I-29 shut down due to the weather.
Lance, Tiffany, Michele, Kylie, Bryson, and Tanner played Catchphrase and the girls beat the boys in Sports three times.
Tanner picked Sci-Tec almost everytime and Lance and Bryson looked stupid almost everytime because of Tanner's big words.
Everyone had a few drinks except Tanner and Bryson.
The boys would win a game and then the girls would win a game. At the end we all went out and played in the snow and everyone got tackled, all of our toes were frozen but we had a blast!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I'm the cutest Santa ever, I even have the cheeks:)

Peyton 5 months old

Peyton turned 5 months old on December 19, 2007. I can't believe how fast it is going. He is starting to really move and roll over. He loves to have his hands in his mouth and he knows he is cute, he also knows he has mommy wrapped around his finger. He is a no socks boy, he loves to have them off and if he is upset and you take his socks off he usually calms down and grabs them to go into his mouth. He talks to himself and moves all around his bed in the mornings. We are enjoying every moment and cherish every minute!

Peyton is a piggie

Peyton loves food and he is so funny to watch, when he is not done or you are to slow he just sits there with his mouth open it is so cute.He loves green beans, peas, pears, peaches and applesauce. The carrots he is not liking so much but he will eat them.

Peyton and Tanner

Veggies and giggles

Peyton ate green beans today December 11, 2007, and he did much better than I thought he would. He ate them up, hopefully he will keep eating good and liking everything. He is talking so much now and it is so fun to listen to him. This morning while I was getting ready he woke up and was in his bed laughing and making so many different noises, I was having a hard time getting ready because I was laughing. He is just so much fun and has the best personality, not to mention he is absolutely adorable:)

Eating real food

Seriously mom, not best photo

Peyton ate applesauce for the first time on Sunday December 9, 2007, he likes it. Still not liking the Oatmeal to well but loves Rice cereal. Later that evening he was reaching for my cup and so I let him have a drink, he thought he was big stuff.

Baking Christmas Cookies

SHHHH....don't tell!

This is pretty good stuff, better than formula:)

My first cookie I made was a Santa

Peyton helped bake Christmas cookies this past Saturday. We baked his Santa cookie that he had in his mouth and put it in a baggie, we didn't give that one away. He loved feeling the dough and enjoyed having it in his mouth as well.

We had our first snow on Thursday December 6, 2007. We took some family photos in front of the tree and outside in the snow!

Peyton saw Santa

We took Peyon to see Santa on Wednesday December 5, 2007 at the Independence Center. He did smile reallygood for the real picture that we got. Santa asked how old he was and I told him 4 months and told him that Peyon said "I want everything" and Santa said well at least everything he can put in his mouth:)

Peyton eating cereal

I'm a big boy now!!

Peyton ate cereal for the first time on Tuesday December 4, 2007. He didn't care for it much but the next day we made it a little thicker and he ate it up and now loves to eat and chomp on the spoon.

Peyton's 4 month checkup

Peyton went to the doctor today. He weighs 15 pounds 4 ounces and is 24 3/4 inches. He had to get shots and he didn't even cry or whimper today, he took it like a pro, mommy on the other hand didn't do as well. The nurse said chubby babies usually take shots better and as you can all see he is a piggy, but very cute:)
We also started solids today, he took a couple of bites but was not all that interested, he was more interested in flopping his arms everywhere, this should be fun!
We also made it through our first occurrence with the flu, thank goodness it is over, hopefully we will be done for the year.

Peyton is sick

Peyton got sick this week, he had a fever and was throwing up, I'm not sure if it was harder on him or mommy. I was terrified and felt absolutely terrible for him, I understand completely wanting to change places with your child to take their pain away. He is still working on getting better, he is still not eating much but he is eating more than he was so he is making progress and his fever is down. We tried Pedialyte, he isn't that into it yet, he makes a very sour face when he tastes it, so we had to put it into a syringe to get it down him the other night to keep him hydrated, which was awful.
