Lance and I went to Chicago in celebration of our 6 year anniversary! We flew out on Thursday September 24, 2010 and walked around Michigan Avenue when we arrived before heading to the Cubs game. We took the L-Train to Wrigleyville, Lance was excited to ride a sub! We hung out at the Cubby Bear before the game and then our friends Andrea and Alvin Howell arrived we headed to the game. The Cubs lost to the Cardinals. After the game we walked to a few different bars in the Wrigleyville area before heading back to the downtown area. We ate Chicago hotdogs when we returned to the downtown area and then turned in early. On Saturday September 25, 2010 Lance came across tickets to the Notre Dame game and so he and I rented a car and headed to South Bend, IN. We walked around campus and in the Cathedral, it is a beautiful campus and the Cathedral was amazing and breathtaking. We went to the game and unfortunately Notre Dame lost to Stanford, but it was an amazing experience and a dream come true for me and I will never forget it!! When we returned to Chicago we met Andrea and Alvin at Giorodano’s for Chicago-style pizza and then went to Second City Comedy Club, which was hilarious. We were ready to stay another day but had to come home so that just means we will have to make another trip! It was a great weekend!!
