Gymnastics

Peyton has started gymnastics and he has a blast, he does very well on the balance beam but does need to be hold mommy's hand for extra balance but he will walk across two or three times every session. He loves the trampoline, hasn't really figured out to jump but loves to run across and fall down and have mommy jump with him. He likes to do front rolls down the mats. His favorite thing is going up and sliding down the big slides, however, it's a lot of work for mommy. You have to climb up the slide with a rope and then down we go, it wouldn't be so hard if I wasn't carrying him in my arms and trying to get up the slide, but he loves it so we do it about five times per session, it's good exercise for mommy too.

Peyton went Trick or Treating and didn't really know what to think of it, we went to a few of our friends houses and then a couple of boys houses that he goes to daycare with. It was a perfect night and he enjoyed riding in the wagon more than anything but I think was trying to figure out what was going on and why we were going for a walk in the dark and making him wear a penguin outfit, but we had a great time and our friend Melanie Earhart went with us as we took the dogs, Scuddles was dressed as a Pumpkin and Melanie's dog Cleo was dressed as a Witch. By the time Oma and Opa got here, Peyton had already had his costume off and we put it back on for them but he was done, didn't help that he only took a 45 minute nap all day, sometimes he just thinks he's a big boy. We hung out for a bit and ordered pizza and then when Peyton went to bed we sat outside around the fire pit for a bit and just relaxed. Great ending to a perfect night.
