Peyton loves saying "dada"

On Saturday February 23, 2008, Peyton started saying "dada" and he will get on a role and say it nonstop. He did say "ma" first but it was a one time thing, the "dada" has been constant. It is adorable and he gets a kick out of talking.

Jumping around

Peyton loves jumping in the jumper and looked adorable in his hoodie.

Peyton is 7 months old

Peyton turned 7 months on Tuesday February 19, 2008. He has such a little personality and he loves making sounds and babbling. He is still not crawling but he will scoot and roll to where he wants to go. He is sitting up on his own now. He is still doing a lot of drooling but no teeth yet. He likes to give 5, if you put your hand out and ask him to give you 5 he will smack your hand, super cute! He is still quite the eater and loves almost everything. He loves taking baths and will sit up and smack his hands to splash. He also has a blanky now, he loves to suck on it and it goes everywhere with us and he especially wants it when it's time to sleep. I say it every month but I just don't know where time is going, but I'm loving and savoring every minute.

My First Daytona 500

I watched my first Daytona 500 with my daddy and of course he put me in Tony Stewart for the race.

What is Peyton doing, he's a funny guy:)

Oma, Opa, Aunt Kylie and Braylon came down on Saturday February 16, 2008. We went and ate at Longhorn and then came back to our house. Peyton and Braylon played and rolled around on the floor together, they may be cousins but they are more like brothers.

The weekend

We had a good weekend. We went to Tim’s Pizza on Saturday night with friends from the lake for a winter get together, oh how we are all ready for summer! It was nice to get out of the house for a few hours, Peyton lasted until around 8pm so we did pretty good. On Sunday we were lazy and enjoyed the entire day!

Peyton's first word.....

Peyton said "ma" on Friday February 8, 2008. We were getting in the car to take Tanner to school and when I put him in it sounded like he said “ma” and Tanner turned around and said did he just say “ma” so I have a witness. I was so excited, but I can’t wait until he just keeps saying it!

HAIR!!

I love to grab my mommy's hair, I'm completely fascinated with hair. He will even grab his hair and pull on it. He is beginning to drool a lot more, so I think we may be getting close to those teeth. He has the flirty smile and uses it a lot these days and if you say no, he smiles:) so he has that one figured out.

Peyton's 6 month check up

Peyton had his 6 month check up on Monday February 4, 2008. He is 27 inches and 17 pounds and 5.5ounces. The doctor said he was tall at this check up, one check up he's short the next he's tall and back and forth. He is doing great and took his shots like a champ, just a little whine. He's eating good and loves food.
