Peyton and Mommy (Cookie Monster)

I'm a Race Car Driver

My Castle Bouncer (it's huge)

Peyton and Tanner

Peyton likes unwrapping now so Tanner was kind enough to let him help

Peyton and Braylon

My Family!!
Oma, Aunt Belle, Mommy, Peyton, Daddy, Tanner, Braylon, Aunt Kyky and Opa

We got up and opened presents, Peyton really didn't know what to think but it didn't take long for him to get into it. He loved his castle bouncer and tent and he got to play for a bit and then we had to get ready. We then headed to Oma and Opa's and what fun Peyton and Braylon had, they both got 4-wheelers. Then we headed to Steve and Denise's for the Young Family Christmas get together. Peyton had a blast, needless to say there were 7 boys all age 2 and under so very fun and entertaining. Then we headed back to Grain Valley where Tanner finally got to open his gifts that Santa left and then they hooked up the Wii and we did some bowling, boxing and baseball, it was long but great day.

Christmas Eve

What???

Here's cookies and milk for Santa

We went to Christmas Eve mass which is always fun with him but everyone around us thought he was adorable and then we went to eat at Texas Roadhouse and then headed to Tom and Diane's. Peyton was not quite sure about opening gifts but his cousin Katey helped him and then he was all about it. He did eat some wrapping paper so that was interesting but the milk washed it down. He got all kinds of toys but enjoyed Papa and Uncle Tommy pushing him around in the box. We then came home and read The Night Before Christmas and then sat out milk and cookies for Santa and then off to bed.

Health Update

Well I have been to see the Rheumatologist and they feel that I need to go to an Endocronologist due to having low calcium, so I have to wait until January 28 before I can get into the next specialist but I'm very hopeful that they will be able to determine what is causing my pain and tiredness.

Peyton 17 months

Peyton turned 17 months on Friday December 19, 2008. I cannot believe he's already 17 months, where does the time go??? He's getting ready for Christmas and loves to play with the tree and throw ornaments as he thinks they are balls. He is climbing everywhere, his new favorite thing is to climb on the kitchen chairs and stand on the table and grab everything off the counters, he does not sit still for a second, he continues to wear us out but it's fun and all worth it.

Pray for my dad

My dad had two stints put in his heart this last Monday and today he had a heart attack and they had to go in and put another stint in. He is doing well, just very tired. The doctor said he MUST start exercising and NO MORE SMOKING!! Please keep him in your prayers as well as my mom as this is very emotionally draining on her as well as me and my sisters but as a mom we are the stone of the family and have to be everything to everyone.

Playing in the play area

Riding the bull

I like the fire truck

See I can drive

Peyton played in the play area and was focused on the fire truck, he got off for a bit and then when someone else got in he wasn't too sure about that.

Going to see Santa

Holiday Train

Peyton and went and saw Santa and he walked right on up to him. He didn't cry but didn't smile. Then we went to see the holiday train that stopped in Blue Springs, it was very neat, they had ornaments hanging from the ceiling and had tons of Santa's and then they had train sets that went the length of the actual train car, I highly recommend going.

Baking Christmas Cookies

Helping mommy

Yummy, I like sugar cookies

Mommy made cookies for 9 hours last week and Peyton helped for about 10 minutes of it, but it was well worth it.

Aunt Belle & Mommy

We took Christmas pictures last night. Aunt Belle came out to do them and we got one good picture, Peyton didn't last vey long but we only needed one, he doesn't like to sit he has to be on the move. Here are a few of the pictures you'll have to wait for the family picture in the Christmas card!!

Peyton is jumping now

Peyton started jumping on Tuesday December 2, 2008. He thinks he's funny now and loves to jump on the bed, we have missed the last few weeks of gymnastics due to colds here at home but it should be fun the next time since he's jumping, he will really love the trampoline. He's doing so awesome and will and loves to try everything, we have some falls, bumps and bruises but it doesn't keep him down. He is shaking his head yes and no and he understands the difference now. His favorite phrase is "what's this?" He is a joy and learning something new everyday!

Peyton and the Christmas stuff

Peyton loves to throw balls and is having a hard time understanding that the ornaments are not balls so it's been fun, we have only broke three so far (knock on wood). He loves having the trees on and the other night he went downstairs and I caught him and told him no and he plugged in the tree, I guess he wanted it on and then he walked away, it was cute, so now every night we let him plug in the trees and light up the house, so he thinks he's big stuff now.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving!! We celebrate Thanksgiving at our house and Oma, Opa, Aunt Belle, Aunt Kyky, Braylon and Great Grandpa Elliott all came down. We had a great evening and had so much food we were all stuffed. We turned on the Christmas tree that evening with all the lights off in the house and Peyton and Braylon thought that was pretty neat.
