Boat Show

On Friday January 29, 2010 we went to the boat show. Peyton was so excited to get inside, he kept saying “come on I want to see boats!” because we had stopped at a few booths in the hall before going in and he didn’t want to wait anymore, super cute. When we got in he was so excited he wanted to sit on every jet ski and go in every boat. When we got on the boats he headed straight for the captains chair and then would tell me to sit in the co-captains chair very cute and funny. He really liked going in the big boats too but again he wanted to be in the captains chair, guess we know who is head of the boat now.

Camping Out

On Thursday January 28, 2010 Peyton and I went to St. Joe. I had a high school reunion meeting and so we just decided to spend the night and have my nephew Braylon stay with us at Oma and Opa’s. We all had sleeping bags and camped out on the floor, however when it was time for bed Braylon didn’t want to sleep with us, so it was just me and Peyton until about 1am and then I was sore from sleeping on the floor so Peyton and I headed to the bed. The next morning we ate eggs and pancakes. The boys had so much fun running around and playing together.

Dinner with friends

On January 23, 2010 Oma and Opa came down and Opa stayed with Peyton and me and mom went shopping and then that evening Peyton stayed with Oma and Opa and Lance and I went out to dinner at Gojo’s with a group of good friends.

Snow

We had a major snow storm move through the week of January 4, 2010 and it was bitterly cold so none of the kids went back to school. We were not able to get outside until the following weekend because the wind chills were below zero but as soon as we could get out for a bit it started melting and Peyton thought it was time to get his lawn mower out. We didn’t get to stay out long but it was nice to get out for about 10 minutes.

Date

Lance and I went on a date on Tuesday, we figured we had to pay for daycare and so we went ahead and sent Peyton one day and took advantage of going out to lunch and we ate at Manny's, so yummy and just spending the day together.

On Thursday December 31, 2009 we had our annual New Years Eve Party. Peyton actually stayed up until midnight, but I think having a little girl here that was playing with him had something to do with that because as soon as she left, he crashed. It was a great evening with good food and good friends. We played catch phrase and Wii, which became more interesting and fun as the night went on. The rest of the weekend we watched football and then Peyton discovered he could watch his movies (BOLT & CARS) on his hand held DVD player downstairs while we watched tv too.
