Happy Birthday Austin!

Peyton went to his best bud Austin's 1st Birthday on Sunday May 25, 2008. Peyton wanted to help!

Pray for my Grandpa

Please keep my grandpa in your thoughts and prayers.
He went into the hospital this last week. He has congestive heart failure and his kidneys are not doing well. It has been emotional for my family especially my grandma.

Peyton is 10 months old!

Peyton turned 10 months Monday May 19, 2008. He is double digits now, it’s going way to fast. He is so much fun and has the best personality. He started crawling a lot more this month and loves to crawl up the stairs, he will crawl all the way up and then you take him back downstairs and he will do it over and over and looks back every time to make sure you are coming and then tries to go faster and smiles, absolutely adorable. He also loves to stand and look out the window, and of course lick the window and leave little hand prints, it’s super cute right now. He loves taking baths and he will crawl in the bathroom and push his toys in and has figured out how to turn on the water. He is also talking up a storm and has started clapping his hands more. We were also able to get him back out on the boat and he loved it and did so good. We had our first Mommy’s Day which was more for me than him but it was very special.

Congratulations Bryants

Congrats to Trent and Alix Bryant on the arrival of their little boy and to Juliet who is now a big sister, I know she will be the best!

Our weekend

We had a good weekend for the most part, Peyton was getting over a cold but started doing much better. We went to a cook out at some friends on Saturday and then we went out on the boat Sunday, Peyton did great and slept 12 hours Sunday night, he was tuckered out.

Happy Mommy's Day!

My first Mommy's Day was wonderful, it's mommy's day every day for me, just having Peyton makes every day very special for me. Being a mommy is the most wonderful and rewarding experience! Now that I'm a mom I understand how much my mother loves me and the depth of that love, it makes me appreciate and understand her even more. I would like to say thank you to my mommy for everything she did and gave up for me, I will make you proud by passing that on to Peyton!

Peyton made me a plaque with his hand and foot print, it is precious!

Lance made breakfast and we had his dad and Diane over. He made dinner too. We also took flowers to Mimi's grave, I pray that she knows how much Lance loves her and what an amazing man she raised.
