Peyton's 2 month checkup....shots:(
Peyton had his 2 month check up on 9/24/07. He weighed 12 pounds 5 ounces and is 23 3/4 inches. They gave him his shots and of course had me hold his arms down and yes with his first cry, I cried and felt even worse since I was holding him down. He did good and slept most of the day and through the night.

Peyton turned 2 months old on September 19, 2007. I can't believe how much he has changed. He loves to smile and talks all the time. He has got the cutest and best little personality. He is sleeping through the night, he goes to bed around 8:30-9pm and gets up around 6:30-7am, so we all are getting sleep again. He also started Parents As Teachers and they were amazed how well he is doing holding his head up and talking, they thought he was older than he is, so he is doing very well.

Peyton got ready to watch the Chiefs on Sunday. We had some friends over to watch the game and grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. The two boys Ty and Tre that were here were very entertaining and wore me out just watching them, which they usually do.
We took some pictures after the game, he was upset the Chiefs lost too:)
Our night out
My parents came down to baby sit Peyton on Saturday so Lance and I could go out and celebrate our 3 year anniversary. This was my first time leaving him and was very difficult. When my mom first arrived she tried to take him from me, I told her no, I needed some time with him:) Then let's see I changed the laundry, cleaned his bottles, basically kept finding reasons to stick around. Lance finally said we had to leave and I gave him to my mom and I cried my eyes out, I went back to give him a kiss and then we left and I cried, it was awful.
We did go out to dinner and it was very nice evening. We only stayed out about two and a half hours but it was a step for me. We had a good time and we did spend a lot of time talking about Peyton but not the entire night.
I only called home to check on him once and when I got home I gave him a kiss, he was sleeping of course.

We have a newphew
Peyton and Braylon
Oma and her boys
Opa and his boys
Check out the hair on Braylon
My sister Kylie had a boy on Wednesday September 5, 2007 at 10:21am. Her and Bryson named him Braylon Austin. Kylie was a trooper and one heck of a woman. Braylon weighed in at 10 pounds and 10 ounces and was 23 inches long. Kylie is my hero!! Both mommy and Braylon are doing good and are healthy. Braylon has a ton of hair and has the longest feet and hands, he is just adorable. He got tons of kisses from aunt Tiffy. We were able to get a picture of Peyton with his little/big cousin Braylon. Peyton is 22 inches long and weighs about 10 1/2 pounds so his little cousin is bigger than him but they are adorable and are going to grow up being best friends and like brothers. We also were able to get pictures with Oma and Opa and Great Grandma and Grandpa Elliott.
Braylon had a ton of visitors, Great Aunt Barb and Great Uncle Curt, second cousin Meghan and her three boys, Ryland, Brayden and Brody, Great Aunt Vickie and Great Uncle Butch and second cousin Nathan and Great Aunt Denise. I know Great sounds old but they are great. Peyton's great aunt Barb fed him to allow us some time with Braylon.
Our 3 year Anniversary
Lance and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary on September 4, 2007. We went and ate mexican at Rancho Grande and came home. It was wonderful because we got to spend it with Peyton and he is our life!!
Peyton's First Time in the lake

Peyton and his buddy Austin
Our friends Andrea and Alvin have a little boy named Austin who is 7 weeks older than Peyton. They came out on the lake with us on Friday August 31, 2007 for Austin's first boat ride. Peyton did great as usual. Austin enjoyed it also, he was so fun to watch for the first time, with the wind hitting him, he was smiling and licking his lips. Both boys enjoyed lounging in the front of the boat. It was a very nice and welcomed evening for the grown ups as well.
Peyton in his big boy room
Peyton slept in his big boy bed for the first time on August 30, 2007. Mommy had a very hard time with this, I cried and Lance just had to hold me. I know it's better for him because he sleeps better but I just wasn't ready to let go. He is doing so much better and has been sleeping anywhere from 4 hours-7 hours at a time each night!!

Tanner and his cologne
Tanner and his cake
Tanner turned 14 on September 1. We had his birthday party with us on August 30, since wedidn't have him on his birthday. We went to Gojo's Japanese Restaurant and Papa, GrandmaDi,Oma, Opa, Aunt Belle, Uncle Tommy and Katey(cousin) joined us for dinner. He got Xbox,Playstation and Computer Games. Peyton gave him a Jeff Gordon flag, which he was very excited about. He also got cologne, which we were told was a welcomed surprise. He also got a tent with a skylight and he said now I can look at the stars without being outside, not sure who he's looking at stars with. We had a Harry Potter cookie cake, which was very yummy. He is turning into quite a young man, with wearing cologne and putting gel in his hair, he informed us on our way to dinner that he looks good, we got a kick out of it. 8th grade and turning 14 must be having an effect on how he wants to look and be. We had a great time!!
